Beautify Moval (Aug, 2021)

On August 14, Living Hope Moval took part in our first Beautify Moval event. Beautify Moval is a communal event that allows various groups and individuals to come together to lend a helping hand in improving parks around the city of Moreno Valley.

Initially, we met at City Hall for some refreshments and to hear a word from the Mayor of Moreno Valley Dr. Yxstian Alberto Gutierrez, before heading to Lasselle Sports Park where we would repaint fire pits and curbs, lay new mulch for the playground, and remove lots and lots of weeds from the sports field.

In all, this event was a unique experience. It allowed us to meet some wonderful people while rolling up our sleeves and spreading kindness and positivity within our community. Often times, we are so pre-occupied with our own schedules and events that we neglect the opportunity to spread love and kindness to others outside of our church walls. Beautify Moval was a great reminder that there is living hope in Moreno Valley.
