On November 13, Living Hope participated another Beautify Moval event. This time, the park that was selected was Towngate Memorial Park which was extra special considering it is where Living Hope calls home. Similar to previous Beautify Moval events, we first gathered at the Moreno Valley City Hall for a morning reception and then headed out to Towngate Memorial Park. There we spend the morning painting gazebos, picking up trash, planting new plants, and more.

The great thing about an event like Beautify Moval is you get to met with various people from different walks of life and make an impact in the community together. We met some wonderful people like a group of cheerleaders from Valley View High School that taught us how to be resourceful when we couldn't reach the top of a gazebo, a soccer coach that brought his team to show them the importance of paying it forward, families we met at previous Beautify Moval events, and new friends that we have remained in contact with and have even visited Living Hope. Beautify Moval has become such an important event for Living Hope because it allows us to meet some wonderful people while rolling up our sleeves and spreading kindness and positivity within our community. Sometimes as a church or organization we can get so pre-occupied with our own schedules and events that we neglect the opportunity to spread love and kindness to others outside of our church walls. Beautify Moval was a great reminder that there is living hope in Moreno Valley.

"In the same way, let your light shine before people, so they can see the good things you do and praise your Father who is in heaven." Matthew 5:16
